In UAE each Jurisdiction issues and approves a group of Types of Trade Licenses and Activities. And even sometimes their definition of the type of license is different. For example Economic Department defines the types of licenses into 3 different categories: Commercial, Industrial and Professional while RAK Free Trade Zone issues Commercial, Commercial General Trading, Consultancy, Industrial licenses. Consultancy activities under Economic Department jurisdiction is under Professional License.
